I have arrived.

Well, I am in Morristown at The Seeing Eye. It has been a pretty busy and interesting day so far. Had a very early flight-went fine-at least no one asked what the long cane was this time or tried to pull me. However, the sky cap did try to insist I use the wheelchair, instead of just walking along side him for guidance to the baggage claim area. I politely told him that my legs work fine and all I need is just to walk with him-and added for a bit of humor that I need the exercise. Wonder if the airline people will offer the new guide dog a wheelchair also when I return-smile. Read the rest of this entry »
